"I enjoyed not only the brilliance of the teachers and curriculum but even more importantly the welcoming and joyful spirit of the entire community. The exuberant sing-alongs and jam sessions were definitely reminiscent of the Tosco Music Party and cultivated the purest form of human connection and camaraderie through a shared love of music. ... I cannot possibly thank you enough for this wonderful scholarship and for all that you do for the music community in Charlotte and beyond!" ~ Laura Rabell

"If I could use three words to describe my time at the Swannanoa Gathering, they would be eye-opening, impactful, and unforgettable. The teachers were incredibly supportive and I gained an invaluable amount of knowledge.  I learned more about myself and expanded my horizons as a musician through other artists' helpful critiques and  perspectives.  I am forever thankful to John Tosco and Tosco Music Parties for giving me this experience of a lifetime." ~ Olivia Martin

"Thank you so much for the wonderful opportunity to go to the Swannanoa Gathering and participate in Contemporary Folk Week! I truly had an enriching time and learned tons from my teachers and classmates. Always grateful for what y'all do!" ~ Emma James
