Virtual TMP June 20, 2020
We held our second virtual Tosco Music Party on Saturday, June 20, 2020, thanks to a $10,000 grant from Foundation for the Carolinas and United Way of Central Carolinas. The grant covered all production and artist expenses so that 100% of funds raised by the event could go to the Charlotte Music Community COVID-19 Relief Fund!
This FREE benefit concert streamed live at 8PM on Facebook, YouTube and Crowdcast and donations were encouraged for #CLTMusicFund. So that this virtual event could again be a substantial source of support for those in the music community struggling to make ends meet, we asked viewers to consider making a $10 donation for each person viewing together, or more as able at bit.ly/cltmusicfund.

To date, the FFTC/UW Response Fund has provided more than $10 million to a range of nonprofits – from large institutions to small grassroots organizations.
“It’s important as we look to support our local nonprofits that we not overlook the contributions of artists, musicians, educators, professionals and others in our recovery from this pandemic,” said Michael Marsicano, Foundation For The Carolinas president and CEO. “Professional artists and teaching artists play a vital role in our community, and these grants will help support the continuation of their work in unique and interesting ways.”
